This is what you need to use Scythe with your game. The source for parsing *.phs files, and a class for loading the data into your game and physics engine. Also includes standalone demos with source that demonstrate using the loader. Check the documentation for related tutorials. Demos made in Ogre. Also include SDKs that you can use to create plugins for new file formats and physics engines.
NOTE: ODE and Newton demos were out of date, sorry. Use them as a reference, but use the PhysX demo to show how the new API system works. |

These are solutions to some common problems when trying to run Scythe. If you get problems not listed below, please report them so they can be fixed.
The installer doesn't run, it says that I need the NET framework, which i do:
Download the non-installer version.
I get an error when I click on Scythe.exe:
You need the .NET framework v1.1, you can get it from windows update or HERE.
I get a crash on startup and the render window is white with a red X through it:
Make sure you install the latest version of DirectX, or try running it in OpenGL mode. (delete physedit/prefs2.cfg if you need to reset your settings).
The simulation seems to be in slow motion:
Check the scale of your scene, it could be that everything is simply too large. By default primitives are created at a size of 1 cubic meter.
I cannot run Scythe or it crashes with PhysX simulation:
Make sure to install the PhysX runtimes.
